The St Augustine Bridge of Lions

This is a computer produced image of the new bridge. The final road work and landscaping is being completed now. First opened in 1927 the original bridge cost one million dollars. In order to facilitate the construction a temporary bridge was built alongside the old bridge. This bridge is now being dis-assembled and will be utilized on another project up north. It will be several months until everything is completed.
